What simple affiliate tracking software costs

By OfferStack Editorial. Every price read from the vendor's own pricing page. Updated 14 September 2026.

The short answer

Entry plans for simple affiliate tracking software run $39 to $89 a month. That is the number the pricing pages show. It is not the number you pay.

Two costs sit under the headline. The first is a percentage of affiliate-driven sales that some tools add on top of the monthly fee, and that percentage stacks on the commission you already pay your affiliates. The second is usage caps on the flat-fee tools, which turn into per-thousand overage charges once your clicks or conversions cross a line. This page prices both, so the plan you pick is the one you actually expected to pay for.

One thing to clear up: this is affiliate program software, the tool you run to track and pay your own partners. It is not the ad-click attribution media buyers mean by tracking. Different job, different price sheet.

What each plan costs

The three tools that cover most of this category, priced by their published tiers. Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 14 September 2026.

Published plan tiers for Rewardful, Tapfiliate and Refersion
Tool Plan Monthly Cap or limit Cut of sales
Rewardful Starter $49 Up to $7,500/mo affiliate revenue 0%
Rewardful Growth $99 Up to $15,000/mo affiliate revenue 0%
Rewardful Enterprise $149+ Over $15,000/mo affiliate revenue 0%
Tapfiliate Launch $89 50 affiliates, 5,000 clicks, 500 conversions 0% (flat)
Tapfiliate Scale $179 Unlimited affiliates, higher click and conversion caps 0% (flat)
Refersion Launch $39 Unlimited affiliates and conversions +3% of affiliate sales
Refersion Growth $199 Unlimited affiliates and conversions +2% of affiliate sales
Refersion Scale Custom Flat fee, brands over $1M GMV only Flat

Tapfiliate prices drop to about $74 (Launch) and $149 (Scale) a month on annual billing, which the vendor markets as two months free. Rewardful's tiers are set by affiliate revenue, not by clicks. Check the vendor before you buy; plans change.

The part the pricing page hides

The percentage of sales. Refersion's cheapest paid plan is $39 a month, which reads like the bargain of the group. It is $39 plus 3 percent of every sale an affiliate refers. That percentage lands on top of the 10 to 20 percent commission you are already paying the affiliate, so the software line grows exactly as the channel you built it for succeeds. At $10,000 a month in affiliate sales that 3 percent is $300, turning a $39 plan into a $339 bill.

The usage caps. Flat-fee tools solve the percentage problem and hand you a different one. Tapfiliate Launch is $89 a month but stops at 5,000 clicks and 500 conversions. Past that it is $1.50 per 1,000 extra clicks and $15 per 1,000 extra conversions, or you move up to the $179 Scale plan. A cheap flat fee with a low cap is not cheap once you are over the cap.

The revenue tier. Rewardful charges no transaction fee at all, which is the cleanest model here for subscription SaaS on Stripe or Paddle. The catch is that its plans are gated by affiliate revenue: Starter stops at $7,500 a month, so a program doing real numbers is pushed to the $99 Growth plan and then to $149-plus, not because you need more features but because you crossed a revenue line.

The fee before your first sale. Every tool here bills monthly from day one, affiliates or not, and the free trials auto-convert to paid. A card added to test Tapfiliate or Rewardful is charged when the 7 to 14 day window closes unless you cancel. Below a handful of active affiliates, unique discount codes cost nothing and cover the same job until the channel proves itself.

The all-in math

The number to compare is not the plan price. It is the plan price plus the commission you pay affiliates, measured at the affiliate revenue you actually expect.

Take $10,000 a month in affiliate-driven sales at a 15 percent commission. You owe affiliates $1,500 either way. On Refersion Launch, add $39 plus 3 percent ($300) and the all-in cost is about $1,839, roughly 18 percent of that revenue. On Tapfiliate Launch you add $89 flat, provided you are inside the click and conversion caps, so all-in is about $1,589. On Rewardful, $10,000 in affiliate revenue exceeds the Starter cap, so you are on the $99 Growth plan and all-in is about $1,599 with no transaction fee.

The two Refersion tiers cross at about $16,000 a month in affiliate sales: below it Launch ($39 + 3 percent) is cheaper, above it Growth ($199 + 2 percent) is. That crossover, not the sticker, is the decision. Model your expected affiliate revenue against it before you pick a tool, because the pricing model you choose is the cost you live with as the program grows.

Is it worth it?

What works

  • Entry pricing is public and low. Paid plans start at $39 to $89 a month, so a small program costs about what one other tool in your stack does, not an enterprise contract.
  • Flat-fee options exist. Tapfiliate takes no cut of your sales and Rewardful charges a 0 percent transaction fee, so a growing program does not grow the software bill in lockstep.
  • Trials let you see the real tier before you pay. Every tool here offers 7 to 14 days, long enough to learn which plan your click and revenue volume actually lands in.
  • Annual billing is a genuine discount, not a gimmick. Tapfiliate gives two months free on an annual plan, dropping Launch from $89 to about $74 a month.

What to watch

  • The sticker is not the bill. Refersion adds 2 to 3 percent of affiliate-driven sales, and that percentage stacks on top of the commission you already pay partners.
  • Flat-fee plans cap usage. Tapfiliate Launch limits you to 5,000 clicks and 500 conversions, then charges $1.50 per 1,000 extra clicks and $15 per 1,000 extra conversions.
  • You pay before you earn. Each tool bills monthly whether or not a single affiliate has sold, and trials auto-convert to paid if you forget to cancel.
  • Revenue tiers force upgrades. Rewardful Starter caps affiliate revenue at $7,500 a month, so a working program pushes you to the $99 and then $149 plans regardless of features.

Pricing FAQ

How much does simple affiliate tracking software cost in 2026?
Entry plans run $39 to $89 a month. Refersion is $39 a month plus 3 percent of affiliate-driven sales; Rewardful is $49 a month for up to $7,500 in monthly affiliate revenue; Tapfiliate is $89 a month flat (about $74 on an annual plan) with click and conversion caps. Prices verified 14 September 2026.
What does the pricing page hide?
Three things. A percentage of affiliate-driven sales on top of the monthly fee (Refersion, 2 to 3 percent). Usage caps that trigger overage charges (Tapfiliate, $1.50 per 1,000 clicks and $15 per 1,000 conversions over the plan cap). And affiliate-revenue tiers that force an upgrade as the program grows (Rewardful).
Is there a free tier?
Not a full free program tier. Refersion offers a free marketplace listing, and every tool runs a 7 to 14 day trial. The trials auto-convert to paid, so a card added to test is billed if you do not cancel.
When does percentage pricing beat a flat fee?
Below roughly $16,000 a month in affiliate sales, Refersion Launch ($39 + 3 percent) is cheaper than its own Growth plan ($199 + 2 percent). A flat-fee tool like Tapfiliate wins once your affiliate sales are high enough that the percentage would exceed the flat fee, provided you stay inside its click and conversion caps.
What is the real all-in cost?
Add the software to the commission you pay affiliates. At $10,000 a month in affiliate sales with a 15 percent commission, Refersion Launch costs $39 plus $300 (3 percent), so about $1,839 all-in once the $1,500 in commissions is counted, close to 18 percent of that revenue. A flat-fee tool removes the percentage but caps your usage instead.
